The RAB (Registered Alternative Healthcare Provider) Certification was created in order to make it easier for users of alternative healthcare to find alternative health providers who comply with a certain professional and educational standard.
The RAB certification is regulated by law. The Danish National Health Service supervises the law and is responsible for issuing RAB Certification to approved healthcare associations like ZCD ZoneConnection, which registered my RAB certification and of which I am member.
The minimum requirement for RAB certification in reflexology or cranial-sacral therapy is 660 hours of training. At least 300 hours of teaching followed by an examination by a MD in the areas of physiology, anatomy and nosology are required. The rest of the course is divided between theory and practical work in the primary chosen discipline, e.g. reflexology, health legislation, clinic and clients, psychology and introduction to other forms of alternative healthcare.
